I didn't like Vances comments about the UK and Muslims that was embarrassing. But everything else has seemed reasonable. He was interviewed today and told people not to fall out with families about their political allegiance.

And that family and love were the most important things in the world !

Doesn't really sound like a dangerous man
I got similar impressions from him throughout the campaign. Sufficient to say that a heart attack to an overweight 78-year-old president wouldn’t be a bad thing.

An interesting video about the EC, why it exists and why we can't get rid of it (yet)

Great explanation about why the American system is like it is . Do you have any idea why we in the UK have a voting system where the Government that is elected bears so little resemblance to the actual votes cast ???

I'm not a betting man either but to put my money where my mouth is I've just opened an account and backed Harris to win for £50 @ 2.5 (5/2)...
I've been looking in on my bet and the cash out price. Soon after placing it the £50 was offered to cash out at £47, it's since been down to £43 but right now is back at an exact £50...

Given you don't think Trump is as bad as others think then maybe your judgement on us politicians isn't the most sound

But he was critical of trump until trump.paid 10m into his own pac. He can be bought amd someone who doesn't stand for something stands for nothing

Not true. Trump is ANTIFA. He said so himself when he said he was "the opposite of a Fascist". 🤡
As I said at the time, surely the opposite of a fascist is a communist?

Well 50% of Americans don't think trump is that bad so perhaps you're being a tad arrogant there. I suspect you don't know an awful lot about Vance.

52% of uk electorate thought brexit wouldn't be as had been painted by 'experts'. Numbers don't equate with right.

As per your earlier tweet on ukraine, you are wrong on whether I know about vance. I am an amateur Psephologist and had heard of Vance 1st in 2020 when I read his book after seeing the film adaptation. I am aware that he is against same sex marriage and aid for ukraine. He is pro gun control and is anti pro choice on any terms. (I hesitate to say anti abortion as nobody is pro abortion but can be pro choice)

That's a bit more than listening to one press comment earlier
