What is going to be everyone's US election TV channel of choice?
CNN is pretty good and duck in and out of Channel 4 during the numerous ad breaks.

Did an all nighter last time, I’ll probably get a short restless sleep instead and get up at 4 or 5.

Betfair odds are roughly Trump 60 / 40 Harris as we enter the big day.

Listening to 5Live as I was over the Downs with the dog from 6am and Trump was rambling on and on in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

We know that's the last campaign rally he'll ever do for himself. Let's hope that in no more than a few days from now he's finished as a political force. The alternative is quite chilling to consider.
......because trumps tenure last time was so chilling !! It was definitely a lot more chilled on the war front. I don't care either way who wins but I do laugh at the constant fear mongering that the world will fall apart if trump gets in.

You think that's bad? I saw this a couple months back and I totally wanted to shake this stupid woman:

So her husband is undocumented. Was brought to the country at the age of five. They have a little girl on the way. She voted for Trump in 2020. But now, Democrats introduced a policy to make it easier for her husband to legalize his status and provide security for her family. Trump has, in contrast, vowed to round up and deport her husband and the father of her unborn child. So, of course, she is...UNDECIDED!

FFS. WHAT MORE DO YOU F**KING WANT?!?!

Because Putin hadn't prepared his full invasion of Ukraine last time Trump was in.

You don't seem to grasp how dangerous Putin is with Trump's support.

All bar one of his cabinet last time are publicly not backing him this time. How hard do you think they worked to keep him under control? Who will do that role this time?

Yet despite that control he still got around to:

inspiring an insurrection,

ignoring covid that killed 100s of 1000s of his own countrymen (calling it a democratic hoax)

wanted to end nafta,

banned travel from Muslim countries

Nearly broke up nato

Tried to blackmail other critical republicans

Lost more rust belt jobs than any president since Reagan

This is without an emboldened Putin /netanyahu

what exactly is it you fear Putin will do with Trump in office that he hasn't done so far; why does Trump enable him?

Yer its nonsense. It's discussed further back in this thread but military experts have already predicted trump wants an end to the war. Also why did Putin wait until trump was out of office to invade Ukraine !!

Unfortunately I tend to wake up at about 4 and often struggle to get back to sleep so, tomorrow morning, will probably just get out of bed and head downstairs to watch the telly. I'm not entirely sure that we'll know too much before that. Polls close in Georgia and NC at midnight our time but results aren't predicted to be announced until about 6am our time.

Joe Rogan has endorsed trump.
No. Seriously? Wow, that's incredible. SO unexpected. All over for Harris then, she can't have been anticipating a Covid-denying right-wing nut job to come out for Trump like this.

Trump cutting off Ukraine aid and sending it all to Netanyahu instead will be a disaster for both Europe (including UK) and the Middle East.

Putin will be punching the air when Trump wins.

Joe Rogan has endorsed trump.
For anyone of a certain age with an interest in American comedy it is truly incredible that this is at all worth noting. He's a truly terrible hack stand up with delusional belief in his own genius on such a scale that can only come with long term intensive marijuana use.

I really despair at the world we live in these days. Presumably Harris has to concentrate in the last few hours on picking up an equivalent endorsement from, I don't know, I was going to say Denis Leary, but though it was largely ripped off of Hicks, he at least did one funny stand up show. Perhaps she could lobby Carrot Top or Larry the Cable Guy. Shame Gallagher's dead (said someone for the first time).
