Newhaven
What on earth has happened to newhaven this year?
Lots of injuries including Jake Robinson, some good players moved on in the summer and some have left this season including one regular that has dropped down a league for better money (I honestly haven’t got a clue what Newhaven pay players)
I heard someone mention at a recent match that Newhaven have used 40 different players already this season.

IMO they are better off ticking along in this division, rather than almost getting promoted and then failing miserably near the end of the season. Last season watching Newhaven v Steyning near the end of the season was like watching bottom v top, Steyning much, much stronger and more organised.

Keeper situation has been complete chaos as well, 6th keeper of the season Will Huffer played on Saturday (Zaki Oualah, Max Foulkes, Jasper Sheikh, Josh Strizovic, Filip Chalupnizak (7th if you include Taylor Seymour)). I've always rated Will when I've seen him play for other local sides, so hopefully he sticks around for a bit.

Clean sheet, is a start (y)
And another clean sheet, in a goalless draw v top of the league Billericay - including a 75th minute penalty save. :clap2:

Is there still a rough unmade road still going up to the ground?
My youngest son played for one of the kids teams approximately 12 years back, they trained and played matches behind where you have taken the photo.
The road going to the ground had large potholes and puddles full of mud, there didn’t seem to be a decent route for anyone on foot unless they had a decent pair of welly boots.
