And those 'passionate' fans very briefly made an atmosphere after going 2-1 up. What's not to like?
Fair enough - the 'famous' atmosphere is mostly shyte like everywhere in the UK most of the time, but you can't deny the real scousers are generally pretty passionate about their football club. f*** the plastics though

The ref had a Liverpool bias , which normally happens at Anfield. The bindippers should have been 2 nil down in the first half.

Can’t fault the players in the main, excellent first half, they battled in the second half but we are never going to survive playing like that for 45 mins against them.

Still massive question marks over Hurzeler for me. Yeah I know we are seventh or whatever (f***ing Forest are third) but we are literally chucking points away on a regular basis. He may well come good eventually, but I just don’t see him getting us into Europe this season. If TB is ok with that and sees it as a longer term thing, then fine I guess.
Yeah, you're right lets not give him any space to develop as a coach! We have a whole host of new players, he's new to the league we've lost 2 games (away to Liverpool and Chelsea). I am frustrated we threw away the lead but to be negative about him after 10 games is silly. You mention Forest but they've had an easier first 10 than us. The only teams they've played of note are Liverpool, Chelsea, and Newcastle. We've had Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle, Man United, Spurs and Chelsea. He's doing a good job, there's obviously room for improvement (I think he needed to have got Wieffer or Baleba on before they scored when It was clear they were on top) but he is learning and I am pretty confident with Matt O'Riley, Joao Pedro, Dunk, Minteh, Milner and March to come back he can get us into Europe.

Ah well. Very good performance and a lot of encouragement. Thought the homer ref helped Liverpool build the pressure significantly by giving almost every 50-50 as a free kick against us.

Would love to see some offside lines on the equaliser. Nunez definitely made a movement at the ball which deceived Bart. If he WAS in an offside position when Gakpo crossed it and that's not deemed to be offside, then the law is officially a joke. A replay of the challenge on Gruda would have been nice too. Not because it particularly looked like a foul, just because it would be the norm in that scenario. Amazing how two of the quickest VAR checks ever just happen to occur when it's one of the title favourites at home.

Edit: As mentioned later, have seen a video from the stand showing Nunez was clearly onside regardless. Easy enough to tell from the lines on the pitch.

Exactly. How on earth is FH responsible for us conceding two quick goals against the best team in the country.
He should have made subs earlier, it was blindingly obvious that Liverpool were getting on top, with the ref’s help before the first goal. Not hindsight, I was screaming for subs before the goal. Ayari especially and hoped Baleba would be brought on

Oh well, I felt we were fabulous today. Few teams will give Liverpool that sort of game (they look like they’re going to really challenge City for the title). Both teams were remarkably positive and composed throughout and the game could’ve gone either way at any point.

In a perfect world we go in 2-0 up at half-time but we could’ve also gone in 2-1 down (ball hitting Veltman on line and great Bart save).

I think Tony Harrington’s bizarre second half performance led to the game becoming too frantic with decisions absolutely favouring Liverpool and it probably meant we lost the ability to control the game. Not much more we could’ve done for me.

I couldn't care less about them, but calling the most successful football club in England with a very passionate local following (not their fault they have plastics all round the world too) a shit club with shit fans made me chuckle
Man Utd are the second most successful club, and they’re a shit club with **** fans too.

I just hate them marginally less than Liverpool.
