Hi, new to NSC and although I've followed the Albion for 25 years now, about to make my first trip to Anfield. Are there any pubs where Albion fans will be meeting up before or after the game? Thanks!

We like the Flat Iron. Small pub, but welcomes home and away fans, very friendly.
We were in the Arkles last season, right next to the ground on Anfield Road, home and away fans more than welcome.

Always a good selection of beers in Ship and Mitre. The Dead Craft beer company along the road also has a good selection. Heading to Azvex Taproom afterwards www.azvexbrewing.com

Arkles is good but allow time to visit Anfield as well. Lots of pre-match stuff happens outside the ground. Liverpool know how to get a crowd going, especially when the coaches arrive, although I believe they've been told to calm this down since away coaches were attacked.
