Treated badly yesterday I thought by a jobs worth steward at the university. We aimed for our usual car park ( very early ) to be told aggressively you can’t park here . 11 years I’ve parked in there and I told him . I’m here every game he said and I dont recognise your car ( I was in a different one ) shouldn’t it be production of your 1901 parking ticket rather than whether he recognises the car or not that lets you park? … although he said he was on that car park always I’ve never seen him before . Anyway he wasn’t backing down and we had to move to the next car park ….no big deal but it is if you have walking issues . He was unfriendly and aggressive ….as I say those 1901 tickets don’t come cheap and I feel miffed . Sorry had to get it off my chest …email and moan or not bother ?

Interestingly when I got there, I didn’t use a 1901 ticket this time, car park C was half empty ( or half full depending on how you saw yesterdays result) and that was 25 past 2. I parked up and wandered over to the ground…..anyway came out after the whistle and half heartedly clapped Mitoma and headed back through the throng to the car park and unless a lot of people lefts early, the car park again was half empty.

first time I drove down the lewes road and was amazed how aggressive Albion fans are in their wankpanzers cutting across the the line of traffic , trying to get up coldean lane, presumably from the old stanmer school car park. It’s a shame people Don’t have the brains to realise if there is a row of traffic, cutting over to sit on someone’s bumper at right angles so blocking the whole of the road to those people wanting to go straight on is brainless and compounds the queues.

To balance this up I took my dad yesterday and he is waiting on a full knee replacement so is hobbling about at the moment. We had car park C tickets but explained my dads current predicament to the guy in car parks near to the underpass and he let us park there.

Completely the opposite for us. Lower car park had car park full sign out, stopped and asked if it really was full. A very pleasant and helpful Scottish guy had a quick look around the car park and said yes, there are two spaces and let us through following us and showing us where the spaces were.

Bloody carnage on the way out with a half empty car park but a bad back up of traffic from the lower Falmer exit and Coldean Lane right through to the A27 to Worthing. Three broken down cars including a van was the reason

We get something different every week to be honest. I’ve never seen the same face at the same car park. Only last game did we show our app/ticket/thingy, last season most of the time we just said car park c and they wave you on…There are lots of people ”trying their luck” I think…sadly this means the stewards treat everyone as if they are trying their luck….We get out of the mayhem and go up to the car park near the BUsiness school mostly, its usually quite empty…Think its called Jubiless, which one are you in?

Not a problem for us, we always arrive quite early.
The check’s seem to take place at the entrance to each car park now.
As we were walking though, someone came in and completely ignored the stewards who were just trying to do their job….

Have to say I haven’t had any issues. Been parking in the Uni car park for a long time. Yesterday we drove in without any checks. Thought it was all now based on the camera number plate checks.
