Thought they were decent, and far better than their league position suggests.

Defended well in the first half, and looked decent enough in the 2nd. They have a decent squad.
I think some people are letting the disappointment of yesterday cloud their judgement of what they saw. In fact the whole thread is a ' I'm still peeved ' pointless exercise. We've seen far worse.

That said I am getting very bored with teams coming to the Amex and just getting 11 mem behind the ball.
You mean how we played against Newcastle for most of the game? Teams know if the open up against us and don’t have the quality they most likely will find it difficult.
It’s something we need to overcome as other teams find away West Ham comfortably beat Ipswich and Brentford left it late yet still won.

Really, thought Baleba was poor in the second half, got caught a number of times, almost trying too hard.
The sub was the right one, as he looked knackered.

The ineffectiveness of our midfield in the second half was one of the reasons they took control.
He was poor from the second that the bench passed him that note.

I don’t know what is said, but from that point onwards we were awful.

Good point. Lack of leadership/experience showed.

Not even close to the worst team to come to the Amex, not even top 10, ridiculous thread.

There is a growing inability on here to give opposition teams outside the top six any credit recently.

Wolves were well organised, defended well and could have taken the lead early in the game. They did not look like a team propping up the division to me and they never panicked either.

They were decent in the second half when they played positively. First half they were one of those horrible negative away teams trying to break up play by feigning injuries the goalkeeping one to allow a tactical break being the worst. Refs need to give more powers to manage those situations.

The ref treated literally every fake Wolves injury as a head injury. Stopping play. Wolves did this every time we were playing well with momentum. Imho some other refs are better at playing on, judging the situation.

At 1-0 all the Wolves ill luck with injuries stopped dead … funny that.

Nowhere near: Lemina, Ait-Nouri and Cuhna are all excellent footballers. We should’ve been out of sight yesterday but we gave Wolves a sniff and they f***ed us over

They were set up for a point from the off..the injury feigning and persistent shirt pulling/momentum breaking were testament to that. Despite the fact he’s a bit too football for me GON got his half time subs spot on and the failure of FH to adjust to losing control of the midfield with a tiring Baleba who was simply majestic in the first half, ultimately cost 2 points imo.

Luton last season are the worst PL team I’ve ever seen at the Amex, they improved but they were utterly terrible in the opening game (I assume it was opening day nerves)

Good post.
Thought they troubled us in the cup as well.
Reasonable team, and a lot better than Forest and Ipswich IMO, (dare I say) no worse than Spurs either…..

Defensively, Rutter destroyed Nouri in both halves. Nouri looked stressed when it came to getting beaten every time.

I thought Crodo’s Villa supporting was as well known as his dodgy sweepstakes but clearly not, judging by the fish jumping into the net yet again. :salute:

The Wolves side we, technically, relegated a few seasons ago WERE bloody awful. Best bit was both sets of fans singing about how shit they were and the Wolves fans chucking Jamie O'Hara's shirt back at him after he threw it to them at FT.
