They should be forced to recreate the attack in an empty Amex next week until they score 10 times in a row

We tried to hit them on the break. We failed. Then they went up the other end and did exactly the same to us. Fair play for that
It isn’t the same thing at all. If a team is a goal DOWN in the 93rd minute, nobody can be too critical of them for over-committing and leaving themselves hopelessly exposed at the back. The same is simply not true of a team a goal UP in the 93rd minute.

If an U12 team committed like that and blew a win, they’d be embarrassed.

My issue with this, is why has a misplaced pass so far away from our goal led to a goal to them? The rest of the team should hang their heads in shame from that.
Wolves proving twice that a speculative shot through the defensive cover can sometimes go in.

Lots to be angry about, but you have to chalk it up as one of those things.

The shot only goes in because it deflects over Verbruggen.
Comfortable save if not for that.

To a certain extent, but there was still plenty of defensive cover by the time Cunha shot.

It was a pretty lucky equaliser.

I had that very thing at u13 when for the second week in a row, my 2 central midfielders ignored my imploring to sit in and not overcommiting and we conceded on the break following a long ball out of their defence when we misplaced a pass. On both occasions we blew an away draw turning them into defeats

FH was much calmer than I was after the game. I do hope he used the language that as a u13 coach I wasn't allowed to use, in the dressing room.

I would say that was the only time on the game that Igor stood off the attacker (may have been down to his booking /no pervis to be seen) and then it hits the underside of JPVH boot. 9 times out of 10 that shot doesn't go in

I actually dreamt last night that we scored two late goals in added-on time, won 4-2 and went third in the league.

Must have been the chicken tikka.

The whole event was a bit freakish, starting with Dunk's injury in the warm-up and ending with FourVOneGate

This. If we hit a few speculative shots from the edge of the area, rather than always taking that extra touch, a few of these might go our way.

I had already mentally spent the winnings from my 2-1 bet, but hey ho, I also had a 3-1 bet on too and was mentally spending that just as Wieffer was about to cross the ball for our third goal.

Having watched the replay, if any of Baleba x 2 and Mitoma shots took a deflection like the Wolves equaliser it would have been game over long before Wiefers poor pass. Still don’t think his pass was as bad as Webbys underhit backpass a little while ago. Shit happens.

Exactly, do we really need more negative stuff like this? It's history, wipe it from your mind and move on, why focus on it?

The team needs to concentrate on it to improve in future matches. It's true that fans dwelling on it will only bring the level of support to the team down.

Moder liked this post on Instagram. He must be thinking he could have held us to a win.

Smith’s was far, far harder than that one yesterday. Even if Wieffer had just taken the ball to the corner we’d have won the game. If we miss out on a European place due to 2 points at the end of the season I don’t think I will ever be able to forgive him.
You're making the assumption that no one else will make a mistake all season. That's a big ask!

or Palace are one point behind Wolves at season end and are relegated due to the point wolves got yesterday, and Wieffer has effectively relegated them
