Lamprey is surely half English half Ghanaian?

Did he come on when Danny went off?

Not at the start but Lamptey was born in Hillingdon so that counts in my book.

Not entirely relevant but I watched AC Milan in mid-week and I think they had one Italian. In fact it may have been none, not sure.

Not sure, but either way, a little piece of @Bry Nylon's insides has died -

The day that Albion field 11 non-British players, managed by a foreign manager...

RIP little piece of @Bry Nylon's insides
Ha! Good find!

To be honest, 12 years on I find myself indifferent tbh.

I was out this afternoon, having spent the morning watching the U14 side i coach and for the first time in decades I completely forget we were even playing. And whilst back in times past, chucking 2 points down the shitter in added time would have entirely and irredeemably ruined my whole week, today it barely registered as an irritation.

I think so far as me and the Albion are concerned these days, it’s feeling a lot like we’re approaching a “It’s not you; it’s me” situation.

Someone today said…..we have spent over £200 million on players who are no better than what we had last season….. it’s early days but in a way I can see the argument.

hopefully oreily when he gets fit will be a step up from a few very young players who are still learning the game

BTW why did he take off baleba?

Complete and utter bollox.

Probably the Starting (or best) XI isn't a huge upgrade but our depth of squad and bench is a massive upgrade. In the latter half of last season we were utilising half the U21s to get a full squad together.
