Anyone used to buy this broadsheet sized Albion paper? Check out our future stadium. 😍

Looks a bit like a blue version of Stoke's stadium before they filled in the corners. Both were designed in the 90s probably off the same template.

Plenty of parking available. Was this the Toads Hole Valley project?
I believe it was. And yes, in answer to the OP I do remember buying the paper. Quite short-lived iirc.

And I know the Amex is iconic etc etc, but at least with that design we'd have had a proper North Stand! :)

Worthing
I was at the Scunthorpe FA Cup game - my first time in the north stand at the Goldstone without my dad taking me to the South West corner. Sergei Gotsmanov scored (the winner?) I seem to recall...however my dad took my brother and me to Liverpool in the next round and we drew 2-2 after being 2-0 down early in the second half. For a very long time that was my favourite away game to have witnessed in person.

My 17 year old son has now been to Anfield on several occasions, but he understandably can't appreciate what an enormous experience it was to go to Anfield and inexplicably get a replay back in 1991.

I'm still glad we were made to wait another two and a half decades to get the AMEX in the shape that it's in compared to the artist's impression from 1990.
