RIP.

I remember him as an Olympian first, he would’ve faced systematic cheating from the Soviet Bloc. Learnt the word “cadence” from Ron Pickering describing the technique.

I always used our yellow pages as a backstop for my blow pipe and air pistols. I miss them. I’m not using my Littleswoods catalogues… No way.

When I was a lad my Nan had a photo on her mantelpiece of Geoff with my cousin sat on his shoulder that was taken as some sort of promotion shot for WSM. That was my first introduction to the world of strongman and I’ve followed it ever since.
