Returns to the Amex this Saturday to take charge of our match against Wolves.

it will be his 12th time here but more worryingly is the fact that we have never won at home while he has officiated.

it’s time to put that statistic to bed.

Football superstitions we all do it, I was dreading Wolves coming to us without a win.
In typical Brighton fashion I hope we don’t hand them their first win.
They aren’t a bad side and don’t get stuffed it’s a run we could easily find ourselves on.

Plus, our record at home against the bottom side in the league is utter gash.

I'd rather Michael Oliver, the big club's friend, reffing this game rather than the City or Liverpool one

Them's the Albion rules sadly. If we could put clubs at the bottom of the table to the sword at the Amex then we'd be genuine Champions League contenders

Talking of football superstitions, anyone else get annoyed by the stupid things players do as they enter the pitch?
I'm sure I saw one player hop on one leg three times, then the same on the other, bend down touch the grass, cross himself, look up to the sky and point with both hands.
If these things worked they'd win every game.
Edited twice because for some reason the adverts keep making this bomb out of the reply box.

Still haven't forgiven him for waving away two penalties against Brentford.

1 overturned by VAR (the other one should have been too)

Just a slightly misleading stat…

He’s reffed us once and we drew at the Amex in 3.5 years. We’re a bit of a different team now eh.

I've heard that Sodexo are supplying a delicious slap up meal for all the officials, so that should help.

Worthing
Adequate, he tried to let the game flow and was not biased but shirt pulling, arms around him and fouling on Mitoma was seldom punished
On the other hand he didn’t fall for the histrionics from Wolves after the first ‘head’ injury, and gave Veltman short shrift as well.

As for Mitoma, to be fair on Oliver that was more on his blind side, a couple of times in the second half.

I thought he was great 😃👍
