Hmmmm, bollocks?

All the people you quoted can talk a good game. That's how they got to prominence. But even the mildest scrutiny reveals it to be hate driven tripe

He's no better than any of them. Neither is Barton
I'm not defending him. "Compelling" is a double edged sword. Kennedy was compelling. Martin Luthor King was compelling. Nelson Mandela was compelling. So was Hitler. So was Johnson. So was J-M Le Pen. It is the ability to present a plausible narrative (whether the narrative is accurate or not) that (for a while, at least) resonates with the perceived needs of the time, whether usefully or malignantly. Incidentally the Oxford address is not a rallying call to Islamophobia. In case you are wondering. The narrative there was 'look, I am a fair and reasonable man with just cause for concern'. The narrative was however partial and bogus.

And I don't regard Farage as remotely compelling. He makes things up on the spot and is a classic grifter. Most people see this, which is why he has struggled to get a seat and has had to resort to a six-toed constituency awash with the worst sort of deluded entitled white underclass pillocks to do so.

Yaxley Lennon is particularly odd in that he can't create a consistent narrative, and contradicts himself. I suspect he has 'mental health issues' (and I add that having such issues does not preclude him from being a ****). I think his agenda is quite different from Farage. Frog faces is interested in one thing only: money. He is using his appeal to a certain sort of red-faced 'silent majority' (actually a minority) to justify his media appearances. And he has a very leathery hide.

Yaxley Lennon is instead just like the football hooligan whose name he stole: he wants to be the leader of a noble gang of younger working class men (as he sees it) doing battle against 'threats' (as in actual physical battle - of the 'hold me back' dance type), and of course monetizing it as best he can. But he has a very thin skin, unlike Farage.

Perhaps the bloke who said 'Robinson' is the most lied about person isn't far from the truth - widely misunderstood would be more accurate. He is no Farage. But he is a menace and his influence needs to be neutralized. Thankfully he will probably manage to do that all by himself.

I watched a video of a YouTuber infiltrating the Tommy Robinson rally and then a Trans rights march.
Absolute degenerates of society at both ends.

I'm not convinced that Farage has that thin a skin. He is resilient and never goes away, like herpes, but runs a mile at the prospect of any serious scrutiny or questioning. I do agree that Yaxley Lennon is more dangerous though with his simultaneous bully and victim persona.

Nothing about the Farage skin in that post is there? In a previous post I said he had a thick skin (unlike racism's Yaxley Lennon).

Edit - yes. 'Leathery hide'. I meant Farage. Apols if not clear.

Sorry, a typo, I meant to say that Farage doesn't have a thick skin. I may have been referring to a previous post. Apologies.

No worries. (I think he does have a thick skin, but I could be mixing it up with his brass neck. I will settle for anatomically inappropriate. )

I've always thought he was a snake oil type, sheds skin when it suits him . . . And like his real self is actually a slow worm . . .so if anyone does get a real bite, he'll drop his tail and slither away at pace.

We’ll it seems Tommy is back on the patch. Arrived yesterday at Luton airport and NOT arrested. This Saturday is going to be very interesting for us press photographers. Gutted about missing wolves game though. 😬

Is he going to be doing an open air viewing of his 'film' again? After all, unless he manages to get himself arrested again, it's all for nought.

Aren’t you free-lance?

I thought most press photographers (and many reporters too) weren’t on staff anymore ( family back ground in journalism) ?

Surely that twunt landing at an airport isn’t worth you missing a game.☹️

Yes zeb I am, but I’ve covered the 3 previous ones this year and the pics that I’ve taken have all sold pretty well. So I’ve got to go with it.

Fair enough - we all have to earn a living.

Hope you get some cracking shots 👍

Isn't there anyone else to chase than is less worthy of publicity ?

I'll be attending the counter demo and hopefully we'll outnumber his racist dickwads. Last time there was 15,000 of the knuckle draggers and only 6,000 to oppose him. This is what gave them the confidence to launch the reign of terror on refugees across the country. It took tens of thousands taking to the streets to stop them. Hopefully we'll snuff it out quicker this time. I'll have to feed of match updates from the clubs website.
