Popbitch was never quite the same after the untimely passing of Reverend Goatboy.

Contrary to public perception, Bloom does not own or run Starlizard — but he is its main client

🥴
Excellent article. I’m more confused than ever, though, so I just smiled and pretended to nod knowingly while I read it.

Very very interesting article. Maybe the most interesting I've read this week. So starlizard has a football offshoot now (Jamestown analytics) and they won't work with any other EPL team (begs the question what happens when the team they work with gets to the EPL?)

Fascinating they're working with Como as well who signed all and sundry over the summer. Doing ok in midtable I guess but spent a lot.

They seem to like to work with unfashionable teams. Grimsby also using them, who, again are midtable.

Fascinating stuff. TB is playing four dimensional chess whilst we play draughts. Jamestown Analytics has two employees and zero net assets too.

Just for interest, I just had a look on Starlizard’s website.

There is a vacancy for a Graduate Football Expert. The application requires you to rank, with comments, every Oxford United football squad player!
I know someone who applied for a job there some time ago - that’s their standard question (the team changes regularly though - person I know had to do a Spanish Div 2 team).

The real question is why nous keeps on being spelled as nouse. It's a word that's been in existence for centuries but, for some reason, it seems that suddenly no-one can spell it.
Easy mistake that one. Bigger question is why it is spelt nous not nouse, or not pronounced noose or probably more efficiently why are mouse and house not spelt mous and hous.

Are you perhaps saying that article may or may not be telling the known or unknown or the unknown unknowns.

I will say no more except that Tony Bloom just be a very generous client to his supplier 😄

He obviously does have a big say in Jamestown anaylics and Starlizard. I don't think he has ever officially owned Starlizard but has always been the brains behind it. Jamestown analytics I'm sure is the same.

Some might say an arms length away from it. I would say a fingernail

That also depends on where you live. My mate had a hooss near Fife but now has a house in Worthing.
