Well there are plenty of people out there who genuinely believe that an international manager with a genuine chance of winning his country's first trophy for 58 years continuously didn't pick a player because almost 30 years ago he played for a team (where he made the fewest appearances out of any of the 3 teams that he played for) who are the rivals of the team the player currently plays for.I might be missing something here, but do some WH fans GENUINELY believe that a guy who was manager of a club two managers ago – and was effectively 'sacked', regardless of what the press release said, from that club – would do it a favour by denying an opposition player the opportunity to play in a match between the two? All the while knowing that the manager would not be picking set player anyway?
My word, some people are thick
If you haven't yet watched the highlights of West Ham beating Freiberg last night.
This is what we missed out on, scored 2 brilliant goals (4th and 5th) and the 4th goal is one of goals of season.
Great run and finish
Got to somehow get these key signings over the line
This. He didn’t want to sign. Not signing him wasn't based on the board "not getting it over the line". Deal was agreed, the player and/or agent apparently didn't want to sign on the dotted line incase a better offer/club came in. Brighton were right to not be mucked about, I don't care if he goes on to do well, fails the no dick heads policy.
A) We don't need him.
B) £85m ffs?
I imagine the release fee was probably tied to the wages he’s getting at West Ham, we would have been paying him a lot less so it’s likely the release clause the player/agent wanted from us would have been lower. Plus there is the principle that TB has that a release clause has to be earned (see Ali Mac) rather than given as a basic demand, we’d have set a precedent that the club probably didn’t want to set if we’d given into their demands.Wow. I can't believe we would have pulled out of that deal if the release clause was only valid for 12 months. There are no losers in that deal - if he does so well that a club comes in with an £85 Million bid after one season then you've presumably gained a load of goals and assists and a higher league position and £50 million ish profit. If a club doesn't come in, then it becomes a non-issue.
Referee had to look long and hard at the pitchside video before rescinding the yellow card and replacing it with a red. Must 'of' been the last person in the stadium to realise that Kudus had gone completely head-mentalAbsolutely lost his head
Should have been sent off for head butting the back of Kudos' headRicharlison was very brave during the incident
