Great to see Russell Grant still plugging away but the missed opportunities will always plague him

A uk version of the Minority report with Russ teaming up with Roger Cook to proactively identify criminality would have been box office, I’m just sad their respective ego’s didn’t allow this meeting of minds to happen.

I know someone who was directly involved in the commissioning of it. I gently had the same conversation with them.

They explained that commissioning at the BBC is not about personal taste, it’s about finding something for everyone.

It’s a show on the decline. It was the most watched programme on Christmas Day in 2017 but didn’t hit top ten last year. However, it’s clear that some people really do find it funny.

Mrs Crodo and I are big McGuinness fans, the louder and more Lancastrian he speaks the funnier he gets.

I hate to break it to you @crodonilson , it's Freddie Flintoff taking on Bullseye. McGuinness would obviously be far better.

But what a lineup as you say. Death in Paradise Xmas Special being the pinnacle.
