The dull part of the south coast
I’m planning ahead for this game hoping, praying that Southern or whoever do not do the usual Yuletide disruption act. As it stands I can travel to/from on West Coastway to Brighton without any significant problem. Not possible from Southampton but I can drive to Chichester and train it to/from Brighton according to Southern ticket site. Except . . . . I have now found out that there will be an amended service for Friday 27th December. Does anyone have any information regarding this ‘amendment’ or will it be a whistle in the wind ad hoc decision made on the day by SASTA?

P.S. Before anyone suggests driving all the way, I hate driving at night now but I’m okay both ways with A27 bypass at Chi then onto M27. Straight run home. Unlike the nightmare of going past Arundel and beyond.

I haven't seen anything about Christmas timetables yet, usually it's an amended Saturday service on weekdays between Christmas and New Year, so hopefully nothing major is happening.

Edit: Trains appear to be running between Brighton and Falmer.

It should be this yes (think the timetables are already on Real Time Trains.)

Normally it's not that trains aren't running it's that often when they turn up they are formed of 3 carriages...
