Should peak around midnight; caused by major activity from sunspot 3848.

Sussex, by the sea
I went to the refreshment centre and back and didn't see anything much

aside the light . . . . I did see the light.

I have always wanted to see the Northern Lights. That night earlier this year when everyone was out - it was only really visible through a camera lens here. Tonight is the first time I've ever seen them with the naked eye.

Here is Bodian stunned with what he's seeing.

And here's a little earlier in the other direction.

All that's needed now is for Albion to win a trophy, and I can die happy!

From my back garden in Hangleton looking North at around 9.45pm last evening. Colours really showed thanks to the night sight settings on my Pixel.

Brilliant photos all.

Any chance tonight, or is that opportunity gone?
