When I visited kenya a few yrs back they took us to a school. We had all the usual guff pencils, biros, rulers etc to give them which the teachers greatly appreciated. What we did see was the boys playing football in bare feet with old plastic bags that had been fashioned into balls. When we got home we bought some deflated balls along with a pump and extra attachments and sent them over.

Good egg. I absolutely love that kid. Seems so down to earth in his interviews, an absolute world apart from some footballers.

Yep, he's a local lad up here, played for Ruislip Rangers.

Ha, I know that lady well, I used to live in what was Rhodesia then, early 70s, her family were all pals with mine.... one of her two brothers was in my class at a school in Salisbury ( Harare).... we are all still in touch from time to time despite me now living in the west country... her visit is the first time she has returned since the 70s, good for her.....

Suspect the kits came via kitaid - I took a great donation from them once which we distributed to Africa via our charity. they get a lot of the old stock from clubs - often with players names who have left and distribute around the world. A great organisation
