As much as it would be nice for a Dolly March return, I wouldn't want to risk anything. I think another few weeks a couple of U21 matches and then the bench for the 1st team and slowly integrate him back into the 11. It's been a tough long 12 months for the chap so I wouldn't want to see him ruin his progress.

As for the starting 11. Well the game is more than likely going to be played in the centre circle with both teams and their highlines. The goalies are going to have a busy game each I reckon.

And also I think with us playing a high line we should play Igor for that bit more pace at the back. He's not the quickest but quicker than Webster.

It might not be popular but maybe we should put Baleba alongside Dunk in defence to give us a chance to retreat in time. I'm still baffled why we let Gilmour go. Would a had him first choice CM this season and give young Hinchelwood more time in defensive duties.

Beleba's going to be stellar but he has a clumsy, pointless foul or 3 in him.
Disastrous at CB

The two line-ups as predicted by the Athletic's correspondent for each team (Andy Naylor and Jay Harris):

This would be more like the way St Pauli set up last season, with Wieffer dropping into a back three out of possession. This is how I expected us to play from Day 1 to be honest. Hinsh is in there as he's bloody good in the air in both boxes and will score a few this season.

I'm the same on Wieffer, and can see why we bought him, he's very calm on the ball, can see where he wants to move the ball to and can manoeuvre into position to do so, and is very good at sensing danger and snuffing out counter-attacks. That said, he really hasn't caught up with the pace of the PL yet, and looks very slow; unless he can sort this out swiftly, we'll have to re-evaluate.

Yep, from what I've seen of him, Wieffer hasn't quite got up to the pace of the Premier League yet. He has a habit of underhitting some simple passes and can get overrun o the press.... but the only way to get up to speed is to play. I have no doubt he'll get there.

Perhaps you should email Paul Barbie ?

It’s hard not to get so frustrated with the injury situation. Pedro was on fire and out for weeks at least, JPVH best form for the club and out and Adingra out most productive forward player this season and also out. When will we get a run of good fortune.
