BeerschotYes, he went to an awful team in Belgium whose name slips my mind.

Yup. You even shared your wisdom on the deal.Did we send him out on loan? I lose track?
One could use the argument that this is a grade 1 failure of the recruitment team. To chase a young international player who has played and received rave reviews in the COPA to give us some exciting creative ( remember them) options in midfield …we then get him over here and after a couple of games and a few months of training….he is them sent out on loan to another country to a dreadful league compared to here and not only that, think he is only good enough to play for a shit team who are bottom of their second division.
I am all for giving players a chance, but if he is only good enough to play the equivalent of our 3rd division at a push, why chase him so hard to get him here? Did we not have him watched at his games or is this another brilliant bit of business by his agent!
Also why didn’t we send him to Spain, where at least they speak his language!!!!!!
Yep. Another one down the plug-hole of history!Ffs
remember when we used to abuse chelsea fans for doing exactly the same….buying up players and then sending them out on loan never to be seen again…..of the ones we have done this to, Mitoma and Adringa seem to be the ones that have worked.
can one of the usual crowd tell me who else has done well that is still here (ex Ben white who only was here a year so I never really saw him as a Brighton player)
Well, we know you don't like loans. You called Caicedo a "pointless signing" when we loaned him to Belgium and said "he would never develop in the Belgian league".Yep. Another one down the plug-hole of history!
Osman to replace Minteh in a few seasons?Excellent move. They have got a big Minteh shaped hole in their team - hopefully Osman will have a similar impact as he did.
Nice to see him looking good in the Champions League:
Sima is doing even better though!
It’s just a shame we don’t seem to have brilliant young defenders on loan smashing up the Premier League. But we’re clearly well stocked for wingers and attackers and midfielders for quite some time.

I saw a lot of Sima last season and I’m still not convinced he’s better that either Welbeck, Ferguson or Pedro. Wouldn’t be adverse to making a good profit if we could .Looks like we have another situation brewing like the German guy (brain fart forgot him already lol!). No doubt Sima has a good season, he won't want to come back again so another potential talent lost
And he got the important first goal. The Eagles were well and truly plucked by the time he got his 2nd assist for the 4th goal.A goal and two assists for our boy in a 5-1 win at the wonderfully named Go Ahead Eagles today A 9.95 rating on Whoscored to go with it.
Plucking Eagles augurs well for Osman's future. And he got the important first goal. The Eagles were well and truly plucked by the time he got his 2nd assist for the 4th goal.
