Two spring to mind.

In 1986 I had a dream that I was watching a football match and saw a goal being scored. I then went over to Hayes in Middlesex after the match to see a friend I hadn't seen for a long time and had no contact with as I lived in Brighton and we were both at school.

The following weekend I was watching an FA Cup match between Charlton and West Ham and Tony Cottee scored. I recognised it as the same I had seen in the dream. Shortly after the phone went and I was asked if I could fill in for my Boys' Brigade team in a five-a-side in Hillingdon the following weekend. I agreed, turned up, and my Hayes mate was playing for the opposition team.

Another one. In 2021 I had been out of work for a year or so and I dreamt that I was starting work again at my old work place. The dream was disturbed by a phone call. It was my old workplace, could I come back for three months to cover a vacant post ? After the call I went back to sleep and when I work up I had to check the phone as I wondered whether I had subsequently dreamt the phone call as well. I'm still working for them three years later.

Newhaven
Coincidence that I was thinking about this thread this morning on a dog walk, and here it is again.

I went to Suffolk in August, I was driving along this road near to where I was staying and had to stop to give way to a few cars due to a car parked in the road, I glanced a large house to my right, the house had a farm gate with large name plate.
The house is called Newhaven.

A few years ago my wife and I were walking on a remote beach in Southern India . A couple the same age walked towards us the man was someone I knew from work and the wife was someone that my wife knew from her work .
I don't think that's the whole story :ROFLMAO:

I worked for a publishers, but was made redundant as we lost a magazine. After searching for a new role, I eventually started working for a different publishers - and was brought in to work on the mag I originally lost!

On several occasions I’ve bumped into people that I know at obscure locations. An old school friend in the swimming pool at Mottram Hall Hotel in Cheshire; our neighbours on the top level of the Eiffel Tower; one of our son’s school mates on a golf driving range in Portugal: in Falmouth a family that we had met years previously whilst on holiday in Mallorca.
