Oh lord, this only worked because Jim Bowen was an actual comedian, genuinely funny and allowed to take the piss 80/90s style.
Flintoff is not funny and won't be allowed to do that.

Agree with those saying Bowen, unrestrained by the modern era, will be a tough act to follow. Didn't even know there was a recentish version

The Challenge TV remake with Dave Spikey was okay but nothing special. The last ITV one with Alan Carr was crap.
