Ignore the current league positions, Liverpool are involved in a top 4 6-pointer this weekend. They have their toughest game so far and we will likely find out if they are title contenders. Their opponents will finish 5th this season at the very worst. I cannot see Liverpool handling the overwhelming atmosphere whilst facing ground breaking tactics from world class players. Liverpool play midweek before and after, so will be no match for their superior opponents. This round of fixtures will see Liverpool in 5th.

Correct, but you do have to think his luck is going to run out at some point.

The headline this week was that their board were going to stick with him, so all those useless sacks of shit he puts out are going to stand down on their efforts for now and Vanilla will win comfortably. I think that's probably good news as I think Man United are going to be fighting for 8th or 9th along with us.

Predictions:

Saturday 5th October
Crystal Palace 0-2 Liverpool (12:30) - TNT Sports
Brave prediction of a clear 2 goal margin when we all know that both these two teams will be fighting for 3rd or 4th spot.

De Ligt has just turned 25! What's incredible is how Man U turn good players into donkeys.
Chelsea have been doing it for years. I have lost count of the number of strikers that have gone there and died. When the move they turn out alright. Funny that.

He stunk the place out at Juve and Munich as well, hence them both quite happily getting shot of him. United are just the latest ones to get mugged off. Would I swap him for JPvH ? Would I Hecke.

Fortunately for Bayern, Ten Hag is OBSESSED with signing his ex's. They must've been laughing up their sleeves.
