Windy.com is brilliant, especially for real time weather radar. For example if it starts raining just fire up the weather radar see how the clouds have moved in the past hour and you can kind of anticipate when the shower will end.
The way it displays maps and data is beautiful and initiative and you can also change the forecast model based on your preference (maybe you notice one provides more accurate forecasts for your area than others.

Those with a dog who don’t like walking in the rain and can time walks may like the “Rain Today” app. Only gives about an hours window but seems to be very accurate in the few days that I have used it.
Telling me that there is a brief window today in West Worthing from about 1045, we’ll see as I need to walk my rain shy dog!
