Have dinner at the restaurant 'Weplers' in Montmartre, Paris. It's not about the food, although that's very good.
Climb a new volcanic cone in Santorini.
Train to become a bodyguard of the Dalai Lama. There's one, here in Patcham.
Explore the Seti gorge, Annapurna, Nepal. Life or death. Probably the latter.
Put your car on the train beneath the Alps, from Kandersteg, Bernese Oberland, to Goppenstein, Rhone Valley. Eurotunnel. it. ain't.

If you are thinking of visiting America, I would go to America before you visit Cuba.
As visiting Cuba will stop you applying for an ESTA and you will need to apply for a Visa to get into America
I have been to Cuba twice and the US many times since. It hasn’t been an issue for me. How does it flag up on an Esta?

It’s a problem if you’ve been to Cuba since Jan 2021 - thanks to Trump who reinstated the block. You have to specifically state on the ESTA application that you haven’t visited. https://www.nnuimmigration.com/can-i-get-an-esta-if-i-have-been-to-cuba/

I’m in Singapore now en route to Australia which was high on my bucket list. Also going to the Galapagos Islands next year to get another tick done.

Up and Coming Sunny Portslade
Me and a group of middle aged men who should know better do a “lads trip” every September with the following rules:

Must be a new country or countries.
Typically in the mountains so a ski resort with mad summer activities.
Long hike on the Sunday.

Thanks to them I’ve been canyoning in Slovenia, white water rafting in Bosnia, mountain karting in Slovakia and driven through three countries in the Balkans using mountain roads - stunning scenery. Oh and I bruised my ribs stacking an e-scooter in front of the whole group.

None were on my bucket list before, but thanks to my mate who plans this mad shit I’ve done them and all were brilliant.

Mine now are probably:

Do Vegas properly. I’ve been for work for literally two days but I’d like longer and no work.

Visit South America, must include Macho Picho.

See Brighton win a trophy.

London Marathon. I applied four times unsuccessfully when I was fit. Now I’m a fat bastard it’s probably the only thing that would get me running again.

Have you considered running via a charity ? I must admit I don’t know what it’s like these days but charity places were relatively easy to come by when I ran for The Sussex Beacon. I had to raise 2k but achieved this. I’d certainly donate to you and I’m sure other NSCers will.

It’s a truly iconic race and the end at the Mall is something else, you will never forget it.

Brighton factually.....
Excluding the “learn a load of foreign languages”, that’s an aspiration/chore, instead just instantly joyous stuff.

- US road trip including San Francisco, Yosemite and Yellowstone.
- Visit NZ.
- Iceland
- See the Northern Lights.
You must do these, speaking from experience they are all awesome, probably in that order of favouritism as well.

OP, if you can't think of what it is, then it's probably not that big a deal for you

Bucket list has got to be about what you want, not chasing other people's dreams, because you feel like you need a dream to follow

Having said that, being in the stadium for the Albion to win a major trophy has got to be fairly universal on here!
