While we wait for the next cricketing action, a quick trivia question for you.

In the last ever Gentlemen v Players match in 1962, there were three players (using the term generally, ie not 'Players') taking part in the match who turned out for Sussex. Can you, without Googling, name them?

David Sheppard is another but not Robin Marlar

One to go. A clue: he wasn't playing for Sussex at the time

Alan Oakman?
No. My question was a bit misleading BTW, the one I'm thinking about was the last GvP match at Lord's - there was another one a few months later but that's not the one in the question

Oops missed the clue about not playing for Sussex... I think I'm left with Roger Prideaux.
Correct. That's all three. Well done.

Here's another question. Roger Prideaux is one of a unique trio of test cricketers (Mitchell Starc and Sri Lanka's Guy de Alwis are the other two). What's the common factor between them (not shared by any other test player)?

EDIT: Before some smartarse chips in, I should say "not shared by any other male test cricketer"

I think I know this (from the other two, not RP)... will leave it for a bit for others to ponder.

Married to a test cricketer? I know Starc is but the male clarification suggests that.

Too young to remember the others but Starc is unique for his sporting family in that his wife Alyssa Healy keeps for the Aussie Women's international side and his brother is an Olympic high jumper. So my guess would be something along the lines of all having family members that represent their country specifically in cricket or in other sports?
