I appreciate our defensive strategy didn’t help, but he was brilliant yesterday. Best performance from an opponent in the Premier League? He could have had six easily, and made chances too.
I think there was a time when we first showed interest where we had a chance of getting him on loan. It's when he scored a couple of vital goals for city that hope disintegrated.....and of course as soon as we showed an interest Chelsea copied.I remember when some on here genuinely thought we had a chance at getting him
Contracted at Chelsea until summer 2033. It’ll cost a lot of money for Real to prise him away. Can’t see Barca or PSG being able to afford him.Silly player. The British Cristiano Ronaldo. Already performing like peak Gareth Bale.
Can't wait for him to move to Real, PSG or Barca.
Well if he could finish he would have done, the fact it was another player offers no consolation.Funny thing is, before the game yesterday, the accepted wisdom on here was that it was Nicolas Jackson who was going to rip us a new one
Depends if Chelsea face PSR sanctions. I have a feeling that they’ll be looking at the outcome of the City case quite nervously.Contracted at Chelsea until summer 2033. It’ll cost a lot of money for Real to prise him away. Can’t see Barca or PSG being able to afford him.
........................and remember that some of us did!Remember when some posters on here didn’t want him when we were linked
Palmer makes Foden look like Clooney.Half brother of Foden?
"Almost as good as prime Coutinho and Hazard" is hardly a damnation...4 goals always impressive, but free-kick apart (which was brilliant) we gave them to him….
Coutinho and Hazard have looked more impressive IMO in games against us.
I was right over it and I couldn't believe how quickly he had scored. The near post finish was good
And Van Dijk from a defensive position. Those 3 performances are the best I’ve seen against us in the Prem. Noticeable that they all happened in the earlier seasons when we weren’t as established.4 goals always impressive, but free-kick apart (which was brilliant) we gave them to him….

Not from me. Barndoor Nicolas is very unlikely to rip anyone a new one. Lots of catching practise for the fans behind the goal though.Funny thing is, before the game yesterday, the accepted wisdom on here was that it was Nicolas Jackson who was going to rip us a new one
He looks like Plug from the Beano's Bash Street Kids.He is an absolute Rolls Royce of a player.
When I look at him though I think of Peter Crouch's answer when asked what he would have been were he not a footballer.
His reply: "A virgin"
Totally agree. But imagine it had been Steele, his ' fan club ' would been claiming you shouldn't be beaten at the near post. And not forgetting Bart's poor pass out and his little ' excursion ' when Webster cleared off the line.I was right over it and I couldn't believe how quickly he had scored.
It was a great strike, with no warning, caught the keeper out with a quality finish.
He reminds me of Dustin Hoffmans character on Rainman.Half brother of Foden?
