I appreciate our defensive strategy didn’t help, but he was brilliant yesterday. Best performance from an opponent in the Premier League? He could have had six easily, and made chances too.
I think the one decision Chelsea got right last season in the madness that was their transfer window was to buy Cole Palmer.

In an alternative universe, Pep persuaded him to take the year loan at Brighton instead, he got us back into Europe and is now back at City tearing the league apart.

Chelsea are still nowhere!

4 goals always impressive, but free-kick apart (which was brilliant) we gave them to him….

Coutinho and Hazard have looked more impressive IMO in games against us.

Knife through the hearts of City supporters with every game he plays, which is nice, just a shame it has to be for Chelsea. One of the biggest balls-ups in Association Football history after Brighton and Hove Albion FC and Ian Wright.

Fantastic free kick but the other three goals were gift wrapped for him, yes he’s got to put them away but we made it easy for him. He is a good player though, which is lucky for him really.

He is an absolute Rolls Royce of a player.

When I look at him though I think of Peter Crouch's answer when asked what he would have been were he not a footballer.

His reply: "A virgin" :lolol:

He was good but is also a massive bellend. Constantly in the refs ear which the ref did nothing about. I was hoping someone would scythe through him and at least let him know what a tackle felt like but alas he was given the freedom of Stamford bridge yesterday. Ugly fucker too, a face only a mother could love.
Half brother of Foden?

Silly player. The British Cristiano Ronaldo. Already performing like peak Gareth Bale.

Can't wait for him to move to Real, PSG or Barca.

Coutinho was top class in that game. Full control of the middle and at the time at a different level to anything I'd seen before at the Amex. A rare occasion I enjoyed watching an opposition player.

Palmer was brilliant yesterday but our tactics may as well have been devised by the Chelsea coaching staff for all the chances we coughed up. I'm really nit picking I suppose as it's certainly in the top 5 performances against us.

Agree.

I thought the exhibition by Hazard and Willian, in that first season was something else. Wonderful watch…..

I’m can’t believe he’s English to be honest. He’s the most un-English type of player you could ever imagine. He’s an unreal talent.

And like most of the un-English type talent we’ve produced over the years, I’ve no doubt we will waste him and either not pick him or play him in a position he’s not suited to and play a Mason Mount or Connor Gallagher type instead of him as we don’t know how to handle players like that.

The near post finish was good

Another thread that sums up NSC. A player scores 4 (four) against us and could have had more and we admire him.
Mate next to me said something about how lucky England are to have him not knowing the next bloke was Scottish!!!
