If we accept the idea of a multiverse with all possible outcomes playing out, there's presumably a world where Liam Gallagher was the first man on the moon and Neil Armstrong was the front man in Oasis. :lolol:
I quite like the idea of Liam Gallagher being the first man on the moon. At the very least I’d expect him to exit the Eagle in a hermetically sealed parka and give it the “come on” hands gesture.

Not as good as many lists on here.
Had afternoon tea with Norman Wisdom when I was a kid, he was looking to buy the farm over the road before he settled in Isle of Man. Gary Sobers bought me a drink at a bar, also met Michael Holding at an event. Met Eddie Izzard, friend I was with embarrassed me by trying to tell him a joke

Worked at a PUMA store and the cricketers Herschelle Gibbs and Dwayne Bravo would come in with their personal shopping assistants and just empty the shelves. Neville Southall too.

Sad day today as T20i's most loyal and faithful servant Dwayne Bravo has hung up his spikes. What a career and he will be a huge loss from the t20 family.

Blair when renovating a building in London just after he'd given up his pm role . Refused to shake his hand on principle and left the said building . On that job with us was perma mulleted Glenn Cockerill ,now he was a great chap to spend time with . Other than that Steve Diggle or Kevin Rowland I don't bump into famous people

Probably one of the people in corporate at Lords when I was in my teens - Ray Illingworth, Jim Laker, Mike Gatting and a few others. Cliff Lazarenko about darts in the 90s. Kevin Toms, the floating head who wrote the original Football Manager game. Alan Mullery in an Amex lounge.

Very low rent compared to others.

Was in hotel in Washington DC back in the late 90s and entered lift and there was Yasser Arafat in the corner of the lift with a couple of security. Nodded to each other and he smiled. Looking back amazed they allowed me in the lift at same time wouldn't happen in this day and age (yes know he is dead)

A lot of footballers. Most high profile one still playing would be Virgil Van Dijk I guess. Non footballer would be Darren Gough or William Hague when he was leader of the tories, randomly on the Isle of Wight!

But coincidentally I did shake hands and have a chat with the legend that is Warren Aspinall this week. Living near him I do bump into him quite often though. Always an absolute gent, love Warren.

I’m guessing Warne and Maguire.

Kafrlnikov won as many grand slam tennis events as Andy Murray iirc. He was pretty bloody famous back in pre Federer tennis days.

Norm was a staple on SNL for ages until he offended the President of the tv network he worked for. A very funny bloke.
