Evening All.

My Mrs is now teaching spin classes at our local leisure centre for the mega bucks sum of £23.50 a class. There is something I never thought I'd ever type. Anyway, she is creating playlists for her sessions and asking for ideas.

I have made a few suggestions but would appreciate anything from NSCers that do a spin class and what their top tunes are. We are all getting a bit older but for the record Val Doonican and Nana Mouskoiri won't cut it. This place has always been top notch for music suggestions.

Some of these will also be played at high volume to annoy my children.

TIA x

Yep - they absolutely sucked.

I had no idea what a spin class was, I don’t think its caught on up in Alnwick…

I’m guessing it’s high octane stuff…

I’d have to go with Highway Star, Fireball, Burn, Kill the king… anything fast by Blackers and co… surely Bicycle Race by Queen… although that might be a bit too obvious… 🎸

I hope the Astra disaster wasn’t too serious btw… I’d had a Nova boot once, I kind of wish I’d crashed it into a ditch, spin doctors or not.

Spin class is where you ride a bike but go precisely nowhere. As a swimmer that trains in a pool, I can't really argue.

On a slightly more serious note, I’ve always thought popping the headphones on and cycling off to this epic for a jaunt in the hills would have been bliss… doubt I’d have come back tbh…

That Quench track takes me back. Wasn’t sure anyone else on NSC would ever have heard of it. Used to hear it twice a night most Fridays back in the day, once at our shared house and once at the Zap.

Pretty obscure, also the stunning The Age Of Love, both early trance. Great days.
