Yes, but 16 fl oz of American Budweiser or Miller Lite really isn't a proper beer. Many bars in the US offer the choice of an imperial (20 fl oz) pint or a US(16 fl oz) pint. That works for me rme

True, but the US has some truly fantastic local breweries and micro-breweries (one of my favourites is Uinta Brewing, close to SLC airport). Arrive there early for a flight home and pour yourself onto the planeYes, but 16 fl oz of American Budweiser or Miller Lite really isn't a proper beer.
Thats 2 squirts of screen wash over here.Yes, but 16 fl oz of American Budweiser or Miller Lite really isn't a proper beer.
Just spent a week in Colorado - the landscape has completely changed in the U.S when it comes to beer.Yes, but 16 fl oz of American Budweiser or Miller Lite really isn't a proper beer.
It wouldn't happen in Germany. It's about time isnt it?
I know Labour have had a tough time of it lately but they could get their polularity back on track by going with progressive policies like this.
The power of the pint: is it time to retire one of the world’s biggest beer measures?
A study suggested last week that adopting a two-thirds serve could improve public health. But is the pint really the problem?www.theguardian.com
This.Don’t retire the pint, but perhaps add a 2/3 pint option? A half is too small but sometimes a pint is more than I want.
I’ll drink to that!I still don't understand the need for pubs or alcohol. Alcohol just seems to cause behavioural issues.
Good idea you could have 10 pints then a 2/3 to take it easyDon’t retire the pint, but perhaps add a 2/3 pint option? A half is too small but sometimes a pint is more than I want.
Wes Streeting (out of shot): “FFS! Has anyone seen my beer? I just put it down for a moment.”
You`re right i do need to calm down , but after supporting The Albion since my first game 52 years ago you can take that Nigel dig and shove it up your arse.Calm down Nigel.
It is absurd though, the sheer volume of liquid. Back in the day I'd do multiple pints on a night out, but you wouldn't go to a restaurant and drink 8 pints of tea, water, coffee or (non thick) milkshake, yet it's deemed the norm with beer, consuming a ridiculous amount of liquid (forget the alcohol content).I do drink halves sometimes when out for what would have been a few years ago “a few pints”. But that’s simply age. If we got rid of the pint I suppose there’s also no halves. Half of what?
I do think this. Especially since I pretty much gave up drinking. Pints look huge. I suppose they are!It is absurd though, the sheer volume of liquid.
