This is probably my favourite suggestion so far, but there's barely room for people in that Budgens, let alone trolliesNeither.
As you come out of the Station front entrance , on your left there is a Budgeon’s supermarket. Go inside and grab one of these.

Point it toward the sea and jump in. Roll straight down Queen’s Road across North Street and down West Street (it’s a decent downhill gradient so by this time you’ll have picked up a respectable speed). As you reach the beach, your vehicle will come to a natural stop and the Brighton Centre will be just over the road on your left standing with your back to the sea.
