You've got to try to forget the fee we paid.

I think he'll go on a few nice runs, I think he'll continue to be hard to knock off the ball.

But I question what will his output be? Will he get goals and assists?

He came off against Ipswich, our attacking game died. When he came off today, our attacks seemed to just fizzle out. I think he just needs to sort his finishing out, then he'll be a great player.

We need to remember he moved here from Leeds.

So he's having to adapt to living in a different country, speaking a different language and playing in far warmer conditions.

He'll adapt, but most players don't just click when they move to such a different environment.

BTW does he even look like Locadia? M memory suggests he does but I know that's faulty!

I think there's promise there. I'd hope £40m buys more than promise, but I'll take it over being a dud. I would be interested to see how he played alongside Pedro. They're both very similar, but it could be awesome.

Rutter currently is a lot like Pedro at the start of last season.

You can see the talent and he tries to make things happen but just isn't on the same wavelength as his teammates yet.

Give it time and he'll come good.

Would be nice if he scored a few goals off the bat like Pedro did though.

He played very well but I'm concerned he's all style and no substance - goals are sanity and he doesn't score them. I'm not convinced by him at all but we'll see. We didn't put the game to bed and the attacking players are responsible for that. He is the signing I'm most dubious of but he's obviously a talented player and the challenge now is getting something productive out of his style and ability.

He was decent against Forest. the boy is skilful and sparked some good attacks. He needs a goal to bed in and feel he belongs. It can't be easy adjusting to little Brighton after playing for a footballing superpower.

His goalscoring record and role suggest he wasn't bought to score goals like Pedro, but there's no doubt he can be a creative force. I thought his performance yesterday was very good and he was unlucky to be substituted.
