Went yard onto the pitch ..stepped back off quickly according to the club (as per TS saying so)…shown red ….madness…….i look forward to seeing many managers being shown red this season

I think he had a foot on the pitch and one off when speaking to Dunk after the red card for Gibbs-White. Can Fab contest the red card?

Just going by TS who repeated what the club had said….either way it’s ridiculous

Nuno took some persuading by the 4th official before departing down the tunnel

Was going to make the same point.

Surely if he had encroached slightly on to the pitch when the ball was out of play, a booking would have been fair. To send him off is ludicrous.

Seemed mad but Nuno was raging! My lip reading skills suggest he was calling the ref a f-ing c**t with an extremely raging face on. That looked more like a police issue rather than referee!

I think he had words with Gibbs White, and I don't think he was asking after his family. As the ref showed Fabian the red card Gibbs White pushed passed him and seemed to gesture for our manager to follow him down the tunnel so they could continue the discussion.

The Arsenal manager is always on the pitch and nothing ever happens and today even tried to stop a throw in.
Plus I thought that captains are the only ones to speak to the ref , obviously Man City and Arsenal are exempt from this.

When it happened my assumption was that both managers were red carded for failing to control their benches.

As for the Forest coach comment that he didn't hear anything. can I suggest that it either turns up his hearing aid or replace the batteries.

Having 'words' with an opponent is a red card offence? Happens all the time between players with no consequences.

The TV commentators (who have the audio feed with the VAR) stated Huerzeler was sent off for encroaching on the pitch.

We should know definitively tomorrow as the FA website will be updated (and will give the relevant reason).
