You can blame the ref all you like.
It’s a penalty- end off.

If you play like that you need to score 3 or 4 goals to win games.

But we are not good enough to take the chances.

2 points from Ipswich and forest when you presume the aim is top 6 is not good enough.

Yipee we still unbeaten.
33 more draws sees us relegated.

Chelsea will tear us apart next week.
But let’s not look within, it’s the refs fault.
When you say not good enough, good enough for what?

Blimey - put your big boy pants back on!

We're 5 games (Yes 5) into the new season and with a new young manager and many new players it will take time for them to settle and for FH to work out his best 11.

Baleba looked poor last year, but 1 year on people now rave about him. Minteh is just 20, new to the Prem and has real potential but it may take him a year or more to look more established - a bit like Adingra now. Yes, the defense is our achilles heal, and longer term we need to start thinking about a future replacement for Dunky and have a set established right back in place - which we haven't yet got.

5 unbeaten, 2 cup wins, with O'Reilly and Gomez to come soon, I am definitely half glass full.

I was never expecting all the new players to hit the ground running and suspect it will take a few months for many to settle.

Give them time. They're doing ok.
Although Ferdi is famed for left back, his preferred position is right back. You've also forgotten Brajan to come.

We are 5 games into a new season. Unbeaten.
New manager and a lot of new players who are yet to get many minutes playing a different way.
He’s getting a better tune currently that RDZ did from the same group for his final 6 months.

Work still needs to be done that high line needs to be perfect Everytime or we will get caught out at times.

We need to make sure we pick the time to play that risky pass and the CM pivot needs to be in position to break up the counter attack if it goes wrong.

Forest have won there previous 4 away games including away at Liverpool.

We should have had 3 points today but didn’t but that’s life.

Is an exciting group. A 19 and a 20 playing CM today didn’t look out of place.
It’s a work in progress not a finished article.

Yep - true - that's why I'm still very positive. If this is what FH can achieve in his first 5 games (plus 2 cup games) hopefully by the latter part of the season when everything settles down we'll be in even better shape. Perspective needed IMO.

Yer feels like we are gonna finish in the same place as last season. It's the spending 200m spend that makes it feel a bit disappointing.
Things take time. Rutter only new face starting today. If Pedro was fully fit I suspect he would have also been on the bench. Judgement could be cast in 18 months time if this group stayed together that long.

Do you troll your players in games the way you troll this board, and does it give you a stiffy?

Very suspicious post; I wonder if "briref" lives in Croydon?

33 more draws and we would definitely not be relegated. However we do still have the same problem of the last 4-5 seasons in settling to beat teams at home that just want to nick a point.

It was not the referees fault we dropped points today.

I don't necessarily disagree. We should take our chances, but... Doesn't help the flow of the game when the ref blows every time a fair tackle goes in and the opposing player drops to the ground like a sniper victim 😕
