Mother of Nigel Farage’s aide George Cottrell gives £500,000 to Reform

Nigel Farage’s Reform party has attracted a new cadre of big donors including £500,000 from Fiona Cottrell, the mother of his high-profile, unpaid aide George Cottrell.

George Cottrell was regularly at Farage’s side during the election campaign, including when he had a milkshake thrown at him in Clacton. A former head of fundraising for Ukip, Cottrell spent eight months in an American jail in 2016/2017 after being accused of offering money-laundering services on the dark web. He served time for a single count of wire fraud after 20 other charges were dropped as part of a plea deal.

More recently, he has been living in Montenegro and told Tatler in a profile interview this month that he had lost $53m in a single night a casino, following reports that he had lost $20m.

Well that's what the burghers of Clacton voted for!

An MP who is never there to listen to their grievances.

He has even warned down-at-heel Jaywick not to expect much from him:

'We can't pretend... MPs aren't miracle workers'. So it would need a miracle to improve Jaywick then.

You get what you vote for.

When people show you what they are, believe them.
Farage attended just one of 43 meetings on the EU fisheries committee.

I guess it's difficult having regular face-to-face meetings with your constituents when you spend so much time golfing with your Orange mate in Florida.

"when you spread hatred and then spread lies you anger a lot of people and their feelings (against you) become potentially violent".

Quote from Nigel Farage about.....

...him needing to have a large security entourage due to him being criticised for spreading hatred and lies.
