Morning everyone - hope you are all well, and thanks so much for allowing me to post on the site.
I work in the press team at Prostate Cancer UK and Brighton have always been brilliant supporters of our work for more than a decade now. So I wanted to share some information about our brilliant football fundraiser that kicks off in October, Prostate United.
All the details are below, and we'd love to get a team of Seagulls fans to take on the challenge. And if you raise £500 you can earn yourself one of our exclusive new shirts too
Thanks so much, Gary

Prostate Cancer UK is calling on Brighton & Hove Albion fans to sign for a new club this October: Prostate United, the biggest grassroots football fundraiser in the UK.
Since 2018, football club staff and fans have raised over £500,000 for Prostate Cancer UK by running, walking or cycling every day each October, with the magical £1m milestone the target for 2024.
Created by EFL performance staff Stephen Gilpin and Ross Burbeary whilst at Rotherham United, Prostate United has seen over 60 football clubs - both professional and Non-League - get involved, with hundreds of staff and fans hitting the road on foot or on a bike to save men’s lives.

Former England international and Prostate Cancer UK supporter Viv Anderson is also backing the challenge, with the defender helping to launch the new limited edition Prostate United shirt, which fundraisers can get their hands on if they raise £500 this October.
He said: “This Prostate United shirt is special and it comes with a serious message which all men of a certain age need to hear and it’s one I’m very proud to share. I’m also aware black men are at double the risk of prostate cancer as other men, so for me personally this is an important cause to support.”
