Seems like only yesterday half of NSC wanted to ship out Adingra as Minteh was the new Messiah.
Well, count me in. Ok, didn't necessarily want to ship Adingra but wasn't dead keen on keeping him either, and thought Minteh was better technically than he is.

Based on every game, including the Everton one where he was very good for most of his 45 minutes, since the pre-season, I've had to decrease my expectations every single game as it has turned obvious that his technical ability isn't what it looks like on highlight reels or against Japanese opposition.

It is a little bit too Jahanbakhsh right now, nearly every one on one lost due to "simply" not controlling the ball well enough. And his decision making... well...

But its a pacy player who appears to have excellent tactical discipline, and the margins between a technically poor and technically sound player at this level, where every little bit of edge counts, actually aren't that big. A couple of months of training and playing against PL defenders and you can take big steps.

Not worried about Minteh. He cares too much and works too hard to fail in the end. But right now we're better off using another player - pretty much anyone.

It's big step up from The Eredivisie from a physical POV.

He's losing too many duels at present. But he's still only 20. He should improve his strength and balance over time. Give it 6 months or so.

He still shows glimpses of his talent in each performance. Cutting inside to play a diagonal/inverted pass is one of his go-to moves, which usually works. He played Rutter in at at the weekend and found Ferguson's run with the same technique last night.

When he sorts out his dribbling/duel success, that's when he'll become a very tricky opponent for full-backs. Doherty played him well.

Need to forget the price, the hype, and remember he is a kid. Needs a rest, needs to work hard on the training field. It's no biggy.

I’m surprised we’ve allowed him to go away with Gambia seeing as he hasn’t played since the last international break.
Don’t think we have much choice in the matter. If players do not turn up for International duty the home FA can have the player stopped from playing following league games I believe to try to stop pressure from clubs trying to stop players going to International games.
