Reviving Jeffrey Dahmer and rotating him with Jason Steele?Fabian is ok but if Roberto had a £ 183 000 000 backing who knows what he would have achieved. It is all about how young Fabian is, his test will come but he is far from the messiah atm

Had to stop at gotten, sorryI think it’s just hard to tell tbh. We’ve gotten the results but tbh, I’ve thought we’ve looked poor in most of the games bar Everton. The style isn’t that clear and the passing has been really poor as has a lot of the play at times.
These are things that can come right with time and practice, so it could just be early season issues, especially with such a lot of new players, who themselves are trying to get up to speed and learn.
I am glad fans are staying positive and backing the team because it’s still the best position we’ve ever been but I am not sure I agree with a lot of the calls that we look great and the players all look amazing and a cut above everyone else - nearly everyone out there is misplacing passes and making mistakes. I think we should recognise that too.
Yo broHad to stop at gotten, sorry
All teams ride their luck, all teams miss great opportunities. When this doesn't happen you get thrashings like Leicester against Stains. We have a new crop of young players who have never experienced the PL, and the same goes for the manager, we have a few who haven't played for months and months due to injury, and the ones that were here last year have a very fixed style of play to get out of. So sure we have had some luck but we have won 2 and drawn 2 and just beaten Wolves in the EFL Cup. Unlike RDZ, whose style was absolutely prone to being worked out, Hurzeler doesn't seem so transparent. So are we good? Yes we are, are we going to get better? Undoubtedly. Are we going to be in the bottom half this season? NOPE.let me just say first off it’s been an excellent season results-wise. and obviously there’s the usual caveat about a new manager needing time, same with the new players.
i do think it is just worth mentioning, more out of curiosity than a moan, that to be honest, i really haven’t been that impressed with any of our performances so far. certainly not like we saw when RDZ took over from potter (although again there were a few dodgy performances early on). our buildup routines are mostly appalling, we look as defensively open as we did last season and saw against ipswich the same old issues of not being able to win against park-the-bus teams.
it’s absolutely nothing to worry about really, we got four points of arsenal and utd ffs, but it does leave me wondering if we are flattering to deceive a little?
“Desperately would want an injury to Baleba and/or JPVH.”I said midtable, which would be the non-Europe places.
What’s your predicted final position this seasom?
Charity bet?
Didn’t we match Arsenal away?I still think we have the potential to be a match for all but the top 2.
We are still settling in to the FH way and have some fantastic players yet to be integrated in to the squad.
A fully fit Ferdi and March on the right flank and Estupinan (if he recovers his form) and Mitoma/Adingra on the left will light up many a match.
The midfield once settled will be very competitive when you have Wieffer, Baleba, O’Riley, Hinsh and Ayari fighting it out for a spot.
Up top will be equally as competitive for a starting berth what with Welbeck, JP, Georginio and Ferguson all wanting to play.
Havent even mentioned Minteh, Gruda, Enciso etc and the centre half’s pretty much pick themselves… would be a little concerned if we lost one of the first choice pairing to injury though.

Webster is plenty good enough. Igor is truly dreadful.
Not an arsehole. It’s only coming back due to the yoof watching far too much shit American TV.Why? It’s fairly common word, apparently still mostly in use in Scotland and Ireland which makes sense since I am Scottish. If you are going to be an arsehole about word choice on a football message board, surely there are worse examples?
I think gotten is a perfectly cromulent word. Not an arsehole. It’s only coming back due to the yoof watching far too much shit American TV.
I’m pleased for you.I think gotten is a perfectly cromulent word.
Which makes a nice change. We used to play well and lose. Results have been good but performances generally poor …
the most disappointing thing so far, despite some good results, is that we spent £200m and so far none of them have wowed, or played.
In my five years here, no one has got the amount of shit Webster has got. Its not "new". Sometimes NSC decides that someone else is the single cause of the team not winning 38 out of 38 league games etc. but in times of doubt, people return to the comfortable safety of Webster bashing.This.
NSC desperately trying to turn Webster into the new whipping boy, when what is obvious is that he is more than capable to not only provide cover, but push the other two.
Positionally, last night he was excellent, how many Tim’s did he intercept Wolves crosses.
As for where we are, not overly impressed quality wise, but early days, lots of room for improvement and results are everything. If we do have any European ambition then we need to beat the the newly promoted teams.
Forest is a big game IMO, in terms of gauging progress.
