No one is going to mention the numerous times Baleba gave away possession indangerous areas, by just being too cocky.
That doesn't fit the narrative.
The whole team were complacent and nearly chucked away a comfortable win.

Wonder what happened here.
The whole team did that in the crap periods. I don't know why he's being picked out. Baleba, Moder, Minteh all regularly gave the ball away in moments.

He got booked for impeding a player running past him in a fast counter.
Steele had a good game right up until the whole passing the ball to the opposition striker twice thing, with one leading to a goal. Such a shame as he made a couple of good stops and dealt with those balls in on the penalty spot so well, a lot of keepers wouldn't have done.
Webster looked knackered in the second half and his passing got a bit sloppy. Nothing compared to Igor's though. He obviously won't be a regular starter again barring lengthy injuries/suspensions, but I still think he'd step up if we needed him to.
Hopefully we can get by until January and get Boscagli on the cheap, given he'll have even less time left on his contract (I think it's up in the summer anyway?) and PSV will likely be out of Europe.

If we had an injury to a first choice CB, Webby would step in and be fine
If we had two out, Veltman would likely slot in
Igor I think will be 5th choice CB
I'm not ruling out Wieffer being asked to do a job back there before Igor
I think we have enough at centre back this season. However if we want to progress in this tournament, we won't be able to continually make 8 changes. A top half PL side would have beaten us today.

Yes he had to do that! It was smart, as that player was through! It wasn't his fault that attack broke down. Fast counters happen.

I’ve just got home and that is exactly how I saw it too. Ensico and actually Adringa the biggest culprits. Adringa improved significantly when Welbeck came on.

Especially Baleba in truth.
He could have completely dominated the game, but tried to be too impressive.
He has the potential to be the complete midfielder, but should focus on just being superb at the basics for now.
Think he wanted a move but no one wants him. !!

Enciso was the worst culprit - how he stayed on the pitch as long as he did is a mystery
Igor was absolutely abysmal.
Webbo in comparison was like Baresi!
Personally, until his bloomer, I would have given Steele MoM, excellent starting position throughout.
He was really poor, didn’t think Minteh was much better either.
