Solid game. Astonishing goal line clearance - lad has a magic football sixth sense, to react to that as quickly as he did. Magnificent

Not just the reaction but the fact that he managed to adjust his body into a position where he could actually clear the ball was excellent. Not sure how he found the time to do any of that.

Great goal line clearance, but he was crap again at right back. He's not good enough in that position and certainly not good enough at left back. Could see a hint of a promising player when he moved to midfield.

He was good. Always looks great when he moves to midfield too. Can't wait to see him there.

A midfield three of Weiffer, him and baleba while we wait for o'riley is pretty incredible. Fit Pervis and Ferdi at fullback.

Nope, sorry. You’ve lost me. He was great.

Why are you conducting this relentlessly negative campaign against one of our brightest young talents?

Probably because the rest of us think he's good.

Ok let's see if he keeps his place when ferdi and pervis are fit and he should certainly not be ahead of veltman at right back.

Very casual defending for their goal. Shouldnt be playing in defence. Don't get it.
If you are talking about their first (they scored two dont'ya know), he was caught between two attacking players, look at Moder's position, he should have been back covering the player in the box but was nowhere.

I have to say that I’m entirely comfortable with Hinshelwood at right-back, he ties with Veltman for me in that position. Veltman’s positioning is usually spot-on, and he’s an accomplished master of the dark arts, but Hinshelwood has far greater mobility and adds more in an attacking sense.

I also thought Hinshelwood had improved greatly at LB in the game against Ipswich, although it’s a one game sample size.

He’s a young player still learning and improving as he goes, your criticism is relentless and as predictable as night following day. We get it, you’re not a fan, but he had a good game tonight, and I personally hope he’s going to be part of this squad for years to come.

When he’s played his 500th game for the club and he has his statue unveiled, a little voice will be heard at the back of the crowd saying ‘I don’t think he was all that…….’

The local player thing? Solly had a small but relentless bunch of deriders here for years. Unable to ever praise great performances.
