Saw a video last night on Google Notebook LM and how it can create an audio file summarising files you upload or, in this case, just giving it the NSC URL. Now this is impressive AI. Shame you only get the same two annoying presenters with their verbal tics but this took 5 minutes from going to the website to downloading the audio file.

Having had a couple of plays, you can see a little bit of the working with stock phrases and tics but the intonation and flow of the conversation is almost spot on - albeit aided by the stock phrases and verbal, like, tics.

My mate tried it with a Porn site and the Stoke Forum. It was very coy around the porn site and she banged on about the free video model leading to the paid model. But on the Stoke site, she cheerily informed us "They even have a forum called The Shit Bin".

I tried the latest version of ChatGPT recently and told it to analyse different posters, their techniques and personas.

Was fairly clear it had engulfed the whole forum and made it part of its data. The reach and depth of these AI services is getting quite astonishing.

Some people still underestimate it but AI is an "industrial revolution"-scale change for humanity.

If I'm understanding correctly, this content has been created in less time than it takes to listen to it.

I can't put my finger on why I find that slightly disturbing.

Yep - I didn't time it but it felt like 5 minutes. It created the summary of the site in a couple of seconds but took a few minutes to create the audio file

Just fed it the club site and started it on creating the audio at dead on 10:30 so we will see how long it takes

Scary, isn't it. Just fed it the Argus URL and off it went.
