Just watched bits of his latest press conference and he completely dismissed the threats. He said something along the lines of "The real threat is millions of illegal immigrants coming over here and killing people."

He's lost it - and looked totally bored and lacklustre throughout. I'm not saying it will happen, but it wouldn't surprise me if he continued to slide in the polls and loses the election bigly. He's certainly got the look of a man who thinks the game is up!

I was more thinking about the Taylor Swift effect. I was listening to some of the new voter registrations figures since the debate (fueled by TS's announcement and then bringing it up at her MTV VMA's). An incredible spike in searches about it and registrations. The guy I saw talking about it said data from 2020 showed that there was an 80% correlation between registrations and votes this close to the election.

But sure, I could be way off, like I said. But, equally, I'm not ruling anything else. Looking at him today, he might not even make it to November! He so NEEDY, too and DESPERATE for people to like him. It's actually quite sad.

I think it’s more that he’s fully aware what defeat means for him. Most politicians (including Harris) know ultimately that defeat means a bit of infamy but the next day is a new day. Whereas for Trump…

When people are in a sad place I don't normally feel like I'd like to kick them in the metaphorical allegorical supercalafragalistical face.

First time for everything

I don’t think Taylor Swift backing Trump makes a blind bit of difference (sadly).

Listening to The Rest is Politics US podcast, it’s clear that the election comes down to around 100,000 swing voters in the swing states. Swifites have probably never voted Trump and never will, they are not swing voters. They probably live in the Democrats states where their surge will make little difference to the Presidential race.

Scaramucci (Trumps former Director of Communications) and his co-host, BBC’s Katy Kay, suggested that the only way for Harris to get these swing voters across the line is to address the cost of living crisis. She has apparently failed to do this with conviction so far. Americans don’t have to like or agree with Trump to vote for him and in a nation that values money and capital to such an extreme, the promise to improve one’s financial position is usually telling.

America is two countries. The educated entrepreneurs and progressives on the East and West coast is only half the story. Venture inland and its ****ing Deliverance. Inbred, thick-as-shit, fat-as-f***, racist, sexist scum vote Republican in their millions and millions. They deserve a vote just as much as any other American. They love Trump because….he is just like them. They will turn out in force and will probably give him at least 22 states. Harris has to focus on those 100,000 swing voters who will decide the election and try and inspire them to turn away from Trump. It’s still all to play for but sadly, Taylor Swift will have no election changing affect.

He's had 9 years to come up with a better plan than The Affordable Care Act but still has only concepts for a plan. That in itself is a huge failure.

It's embarrassing.

This is his plan:
Divide people and stir up hatred
Fool people into giving him power
Pardon himself and his allies of their crimes

That's it
There's no actual plan on how to run the country

Yes he's a thick-as-shit racist, sexist scumbag, but he looks down on his supporters.

And the swing states could be a bit messy
