Saw the lines ups for this match last night and it struck me that two recent Brighton players were starting for Germany, one current Brighton player started for Holland and another on the bench who came on at ht.

Not many years ago we would never have seen that!

I’ll never forgive him for costing us an FA Cup final. Worst attempt to control a ball I’ve ever seen from an Albion player in recent years. The kind of thing they made jokes about Carlton Palmer doing
You could argue March had a hand in putting us out of two cups that season. Why he went for the exact same top corner that he did against Charlton only he will know. To blame it on one player seem futile.

And Carlton Palmer was a donkey who should have been nowhere near an England time. Undav is quite clearly a very good player who just struggled here, it happens. Undav might be remembered by a few petty Albion supporters for that poor control but I suspect when he's retired most of the football world will remember him as an excellent footballer.

Strangely I find myself without any ill feeling towards Deniz, even though he spent the summer doing effectively the same thing as Trossard and Cucurella did agitating for a move and bitching to the media about the club.

Maybe it just feels less barbed because he wasn't really needed for us.

So he went and confronted De Zerbi about his lack of gametime the day after serving up this in a FA Cup semi?

Not the smartest is he.

Never forget this. This was our moment in the game. If he scores there he becomes an Albion legend, but that was atrocious and that was the end of him for me. He did score some goals after that, but it would have taken something really impressive to recover from how turgid his performance at Wembley was. Tosser.

I think Pervis is better than Cucurella when on form, Cucurella looks busy with his floppy mop flying all over the place but in reality he hardly got any assists and scored one goal.
Mitoma all day over 20 minute Trossard.
