Hardly. Both his parents are Irish. He also played for Ireland up to full international. It's fair that he has affection for both the country of his birth and that of his forefathers.
He now plays for England as is his want, he is ENGLISH, born here.

Knobhead won't celebrate because he's had Irish Stew once. You're English, born in Kingston Upon Thames.
England fans should be singing " Declan Rice he's one of our own!" No imagination any more.

Ireland are rubbish and why play Pickford if you want to go short, he is a hoof it keeper. Anyway good luck Evan if you get a few minutes.

Indeed his first pass out was miss-hit behind Colwell. A pass of no more than 6 yards

Guehi wasn’t born here. You are going to get over the fact that it’s a bit more complicated these days than the 18th century when nobody left their village

Good keepers though they were, De Gea and Lloris got left behind as football moved on. You can add Pickford to that (and Sanchez even though he's slightly better with his feet than the previous three). If Lee Carsley checks his watch, he'll find it's ........... 2024

What a great name, Smallbone of Ireland and Southampton.

Is it when you're slightly attracted to someone?
