Same for Mitoma? If so I guess that was just bad luckZero chance we'd have allowed it unless we were happy

I can't remember....I thought he became crocked on international duty.Didn't the Japanese call us out for playing Mito a when he was 'injured'?
Kind of - from memory when he arrived at their training camp they basically said he was knackered and on the edge of injury having been overplayedDidn't the Japanese call us out for playing Mitoma when he was 'injured'?
True. Not 'we'. The Irish national selectors.
Is this glandular fever rumour pure speculation generated by NSC which has become fact in some people's heads? Based on him looking a bit peaky and glum during his very occasional appearances on the pitch last season? I have my own theories about that, but don't wish to speculate and be guilty of spreading false rumours myself .
'very occasional'!
"occasional appearances"?
He featured in all but 5 first team matches last season up to and including Liverpool at the end of March.
Which was too many playing with an injury. Needs must but unfair on him.'very occasional'!
He made 36 Albion appearances last season.

Is Rutter No 9 ?He has never looked the same player for us since the injury at Chelsea (which should have been a pen and potentially a red) which short term cost us an FA Cup final and longer term a ~£100m player looking anything but. Whether that was due to injurt, illness, tactics, or perhaps a mix; who knows but we'll find out soon I think.
I REALLY hope that he is now ready. I think that the club must think so otherwise I believe that we would have signed a #9 this summer.
With Mitoma, Minteh, Estupinian and Kadioğlu pinging crosses into the box Evan Ferguson will soon start looking like Alan Shearer again rather than Chris O'Grady. For me, the jury is out on the lad. Hopefully he'll prove me wrong and start banging them in. When he was playing I didn't see enough movement in the box, intelligent runs, or hold up play. Then again, he may not have suited the RDZ system.

I'm pretty sure he was going to come on in the second half against Crawley.True.
Surely he's ready now though. As I mentioned on another thread, if he's fit enough to sit on the bench, he's fit enough to play.
These youngsters nowadays. Made of paper!

How does Evan Ferguson function in a team where the central striker is supposed to make runs from a midfield position and get it while moving, rather than station up somewhere in the penalty box and wait for a cross or pass?
Very tempting.Evan 11/2 to score v England with bet365
I agree, Evan Ferguson Plan B.Didn't Hürzeler want to keep Undav? He must see a way of making it work.
