Moran played the full 90 for the Irish U21s, O'Mahony came on for 15 minutes at the end.

Beadle following in Rushworth's footsteps - kept out of England U21s by James Trafford. Rushworth and Beadle - and Brighton connection not withstanding - surely it's time that the England U21s rotated the GK position a bit, especially against teams they would expect to beat at a canter.

Trafford is 22 in October, so his days in the U21 squad are very much numbered.

U21s are supposed to have been born after 1/1/2003 - so I'm not sure why Trafford is still playing (as an overage player?) for the U21s. Or are there different rules for internationals? Trafford was born in 2002.

The UEFA U-21 European Championships run for a two-year cycle each. We are currently in the 2025 version and to qualify players must be born on or after January 1 2002.

Oh well, he'll be out of Beadle's way next season, even though he's blocked Rushworth.

Little I’ve seen of Beadle he is the future. Potential to be a modern day great. If we can keep Bart this year and next this lad is ready to jump in. Special talent. Rushworth I think one day will be England’s number 2 behind Beadle

An assist for Benicio…
BBB seems to be settling in nicely at Port Vale - him and the former member of Brighton youth sides, Lorent Tolaj (2 assists and a goal), appear to be doing much of the damage to Newport County this afternoon.
Meanwhile, Luca Barrington is warming the Grimsby bench, and Tom McGill is closing in on a clean sheet for MK Dons.

Edit: As per post above, BBB now off (injured).

Make that down to 8!
11 minutes added time so far - Newport County still have 9 on the pitch. Luca Barrington came on at 89 minutes for Grimsby - don't see much point in that unless the loan agreement requires a minimum number of appearances; he did get to play through 10 minutes of added time though.

One of Tom McGill’s easier afternoons I’d imagine.

Ah, okay, misled by LiveScore then.

Well done BBB. Good to see Tolaj progressing successfully too. Once a seagull ......................................! :)
