Unbelievable

"After considering the risks and rewards of entering the competition, we ultimately decided it was not in the club’s best interests, owing to the potential risk of injury to our players, which could affect our rigorous League One campaign, which is understandably our priority."

That has to be considered a little ironic

Especially considering it was one of their "cloggers", who did for our £25m singing on his debut in the League Cup.

Hypocritical or what?

To be fair, I kind of agree with them.

I go back to the challenge their captain made. Totally unacceptable and should have been a yellow card at least in my opinion. But, while they were physical and they did everything they could to foul us, with the exception of that challenge and the red card, I've seen a lot worse. It's football.

As somone suggested on the other Crawley thread, our players will have mates playing for lower league sides and they are just running scared of the potential "payback" coming their way. Cowards.

I'm surprised nobody here has suggested they enter the Surrey Senior Cup instead "as that's where they truly belong" or some other nonsense.
It can be validated by redrawing the county boundary. Almost worth a Go fund me type campaign.

But did you see the culprit wink and smile afterwards?

Normally, they plead innocence.
