It isn’t anything to do with wealth redistribution, it was about preventing economic collapse and a crisis for sterling.

Given the billions that we spaff in foreign aid, Ukraine and chancers rocking up for a free meal ticket, I expect this very serious issue will see this country’s cloth being cut accordingly.

Until they do this, such a decision will appear politically vindictive for British people who have paid into the system in comparison to our newly arrived uninvited guests or foreigners more generally that don’t.

It’s that simple.

Child benefit up to earnings of £80,000 a year (currently £35 per week), no winter fuel allowance for full state pension of £11,960 (£300 per year) is the reality

What rubbish! There is and was no danger of a run on the pound, in fact sterling has gradually been strengthening for a long period of time. The economy is also on an upward trajectory and this has not get anything to do with Labour's policies either (far too soon to have an effect). The legacy of the Tories is 1. that the economy would have recovered far sooner if it wasn't for Truss in particular and 2. They have seriously damaged our society. Cutting WFP will help neither.

The current biggest threat to the recovering economy is Labour talking it down domestically and globally (e.g. the latest message to the world: ' unless we save a mere £1.4bn, our economy and currency will crash' ie 'don't risk investing in the UK'.

And I think you need to think about the freedoms and peace you enjoy before criticising our financial support for Ukraine.

Really since when have governments needed to buy babies, maybe those old age pensioners left to freeze in the winter had a bit more backbone, maybe they scrimp and saved for there deposit on their £6.000 house out of their £12 a week wages, maybe they were happy with their few sticks second hand furniture and didn't expect a delivery from IKEA, maybe they didn't want mummy to pick them up from a friends house age 30, maybe they didn't spend £35 a month on their £1,500 I phone, their subscription to Netflixs and £10 cocktails, maybe they just dreamt of a holiday with their mates in tuscany but settled for a caravan in Margate, maybe their children were dressed in hand me downs and not the latest fashion from Nike and next,, just maybe then!

That is per child. Three kids is about 200 quid a month. 2400 a year.

Hahaha. This is such nonsense. My folks bought their house for about 14k in 1980. My dad was on 7k a year (or so). Double one persons wage. Same house now is worth as near as dammit a million quid. How many people earn 500k a year aged 30 odd?

The proportion of disposable income spent on living has risen ridiculously. He deffo enjoyed free uni with a massive grant though. Didn’t need a job. Lucky boy.

45% of undergraduates do not work as well. The three years financed by the SLC and often parents.

Yep. The lucky ones. The average of those working is 13.5 hours I think. Alongside full time study. The average debt on finishing uni is almost 50k. With interest this means that the majority of students will never pay off their debt in their working lives and will pay an extra 9% tax on all earnings over about 25k Which means that they have even less disposable income to cover the ridiculously high house prices. At what point are they supposed to save money for a deposit?

With rent and the constant increase in property prices it is almost impossible for average earners to get close to owning a house.

I am lucky. I was the last year with no fees. I left uni with about 5k debt and paid it back relatively quickly. I worked like a dog during the summers but did not work at uni because again I was lucky my folks covered the 30 quid a week rent and gave me 30 quid a week to live on.

Young people now have it much harder than my generation and my generation struggle for property more than the generation before. Again I was lucky I met my wife at uni and we bought our first place when we were 25.

I genuinely don’t see how young people today are supposed to save enough for a deposit for a house.

Zero tolerance for dodgy asylum claims.
No housing for illegal immigrants.
No benefits or housing for economically inactive migrants.
Immigrants must integrate and respect Western culture.
They must adopt Western values and "reject extremism and intolerance

Say them now and you'll be de platformed and called racist
